Consultation

As a consultant, support is provided to individuals, schools, and agencies seeking to develop, strengthen, or expand school-based mental health and student wellness systems. With extensive experience in building and leading large-scale district programs within one of California's largest school systems, consultation focuses on program development, implementation, and sustainability, including the creation of Wellness Centers, Foster Youth Units, and districtwide behavioral health frameworks aligned with the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI). Expertise includes designing care pathways, clinical protocols, and service delivery models; strengthening multi-tiered systems of support; and ensuring compliance with state and funding requirements, including ORP billing and documentation standards.

Consultation also includes support for supervision structures, staff training and development, interagency collaboration, and building strong community partnerships through MOUs and coordinated care networks. Services are designed to help organizations improve access to mental health supports for students, enhance program effectiveness, and build sustainable, culturally responsive systems that address the needs of diverse youth and families, including foster youth and students experiencing housing instability.
