I provide consulting services to individuals, schools, and organizations seeking to deepen their understanding of mental health, youth development, and caregiving, as well as those seeking to create or improve successful mental health programs. I have extensive experience in developing and implementing new mental health programs, including the creation of the Wellness Center Program and Foster Youth Unit within the Long Beach Unified School District. My consultation work supports staff, caregivers, and professionals in strengthening their capacity to respond to the emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of children and adolescents, with a focus on culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices.
As a consultant, I provide support to individuals, schools, districts, and agencies seeking to develop, strengthen, or expand school-based mental health and student wellness systems. With extensive experience building and leading large-scale district programs within one of California's largest school systems, my consultation services focus on program development, implementation, and sustainability, including the creation of Wellness Centers, Foster Youth Units, and districtwide behavioral health frameworks aligned with the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI).
My expertise includes designing care pathways, clinical protocols, and service delivery models; strengthening Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS); and ensuring compliance with state and funding requirements, including ORP billing and documentation standards. I also provide guidance on supervision structures, staff training and development, interagency collaboration, and building strong community partnerships through MOUs and coordinated care networks.
